Webcasting The Summit

If you are unable to join us for the Summit in person this year, we will be webcasting the presentations on February 28th live as they happen. The session will be video streamed, there will be a live companion chat, and links to presenter links and presentations available (in the event of technical issues with the webcast we will steam the audio.)

This will be our first time experimenting with webcasting the Summit, and would love to have some of our far flung friends and friends not able to be their in person join us for these live events.

Check out the webcast agenda: webcast access (http://slnsummit.sln.suny.edu/?page_id=71)( For general information visit: http://SLNsummit.sln.suny.edu for community fotos visit: http://flickr.com/groups/slnsolsummit )

To join any of the webcast presentations you have 2 options:

1. log into http://edtechtalk.com/SLN or,

2. log into the webcast access page on the summit blog. Please access either site prior to the webcast of the session you would like to attend. You will need to register (easy- just enter a username and a password) and verify that you can get into the worldbridges edtechtalk chat room.

Many many thanks to Jeff Lebow, Jennifer Maddrell from WorldBridges and SLN’s own Paul McLean for all their work and assistance in making this grand experiment happen. In addition FYI, plan to record and post these webcasts on the SLN YouTube channel. http://youtube.com/sunylearningnetwork, so if you miss the live webcast, you will be able to access the presentations at your convenience in the future. As with all experiments we are prepared for “technical difficulties” : )
